A DTC menswear startup reached us on a tight deadline: they needed 8,000 custom polos in 18 days for a launch event in Shanghai.
Day 1-3: Brief & sample
The client wanted their signature beige color, embroidered logo on chest and sleeve, and a special ribbed collar. We sent 3 fabric swatches and 2 collar samples on Day 2.
Day 4-6: Sample approval & production prep
After 2 rounds of color tweaks, sample was approved. We scheduled 3 production lines and pre-ordered yarn to avoid delay.
Day 7-15: Bulk production
3 parallel lines, 1,500 pieces/day output. 3 QC checkpoints: post-sewing, post-ironing, pre-pack.
Day 16-18: QC & delivery
Final inspection rejected 23 pieces (0.3%) — well under industry standard. DHL Express delivered 8,000 polos to Shanghai venue on Day 18.
The result
Client’s launch event was a hit. They came back 6 months later with a 25,000-piece reorder.
