When we started JianShan in our small Guangzhou workshop, the goal was simple: make shirts and T-shirts that people actually want to wear every day. A decade later, partnering with Kemondo’s manufacturing scale, that vision has grown into something we never imagined.

This article reflects on three milestones that shaped our journey and where we see custom apparel heading next.

1. From workshop to factory floor

In the early days, every shirt was hand-cut on a single table. Today, Kemondo operates 300+ industrial machines and serves 500+ brands globally. But the workshop mentality remains: every piece gets personal attention.

2. The rise of brand-driven customization

B2B clients no longer want generic blanks. They want their story woven into every fiber — through custom fabrics, embroidery, packaging, even the tags.

3. What’s next: sustainable customization

By 2030, we believe every brand will need a transparent supply chain. We’re investing in organic cotton, recycled polyester, and full traceability.
